Yr 8 students organised a sculpture competition using recyclable materials for the Yr 7 and 8 students, to highlight the issue of recycling.

Year 8 student "adopted" a range of different trees in our campus this week, pledging to keep the tree free of rubbish around our gardens and trees.
The Enhanced Learning students have adopted our school stream and have been removing rubbish all year, as part of a Keep New Zealand Beautiful project. They have also completed water testing and identified a range of native species including a copper-backed skink and Kokopu fish.
Roots and Shoots club members from the Senior School planted five Milk Trees, kindly donated by Sustainable Paremoremo Group this week. This is part of our efforts to support biodiversity in the school grounds.
